In the book of Nehemiah, we learn that the walls of Jerusalem were broken down and it’s gates were burnt with fire. Nehemiah was moved with great compassion and restored the walls and gates thereby bringing God’s people back and re-instating the Word which was forgotten. |

Joy Ministries is a ministry of walls and gates based on the book of Nehemiah. The walls denotes it’s strength and the walls represent the various ministries that will emerge that will bring healing and blessing to the communities whom it serves. |

- To properly care for and train believers so that they will grow to maturity and become spiritually alive and active in order to build up and add to the welfare of God's family who will learn to help, serve and minister to others.
- To build the ministry as a strong city with walls (denotes it's strength) and gates (represents the various ministries that will emerge) which will minister to the needs of the body of Christ and the community as a whole. (Nehemiah.)

Joy Ministries is a Pentecostal / Charismatic Church based in Germiston, South Africa.
It is situated close to other major cities in the province of Gauteng such as Johannesburg, Boksburg, Benoni, Kempton Park and Alberton.
Our ministry was birthed supernaturally on 3rd March 1996 in Johannesburg.
We relocated to our new premises in Germiston in 2008.
We allow the anointing of the Holy Spirit to flow unhindered in our meetings.
We desire the manifest power of God and believe in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to set the people free from all bondages. Our desire is to flow with the Spirit of God so that many shall come to know Him as Lord in our area and in this entire nation.
God is preparing His Church for a mighty revival that will touch every nation.
The Bible declares in Joel 2 v 8 that in the last days, God will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh.
